All CRP® designees need to earn 30 credits every three years*. Here is some information about ways to earn those continuing education credit hours:
1. Participate in Worldwide ERC® Meeting Programs
(minimum of 10 credit hours within each 3-year recertification period) *
Recertification credit may be earned from participating in Worldwide ERC®-sponsored meetings and online classes and webinars. Information regarding Worldwide ERC® educational offerings can be found in the All Training section of our web site. They can include, but are not limited to, the following: Worldwide ERC® National Relocation Conference, Worldwide ERC® Global Workforce Symposium, Learning Zone™ webinars, and various on-the-road and online training seminars offered by Worldwide ERC® periodically.
In most instances, continuing education hours are calculated through registration and attendance at the meetings, and are automatically credited upon return from/completion of the Worldwide ERC®-sponsored conference/class. An exception is the Learning Zone SPeed Sessions. These events are sponsored by outside organizations and are tracked differently from the meetings offered directly by Worldwide ERC® All ergistrants and secondary users of these Speed Sessions must complete and return the CRP® Recertification Credit Form for the continuing education credit hour(s) to be processed.
2. Participate in Meetings from External Organizations
(maximum of 20 credit hours within each 3-year recertification period) *
Up to 20 CE hours may be earned from participating in relocation-related meetings sponsored by outside organizations, provided that they have been pre-approved by Worldwide ERC® to offer CRP® credits.
When registering for a meeting, check with the sponsor to see if they have requested CRP credit for the class(es) they are offering
If you know of a meeting for which you would like recertification credit, please have the sponsor contact the Professional Development Department +1 703 842 3430, ext. 1 prior to the meeting. All courses MUST be pre-approved by Worldwide ERC® and must be applied for by the sponsoring organization (not by individual CRP®s).

3. Listen to Worldwide ERC®’s Recorded Conference Audio Sessions
Worldwide ERC® records various sessions from our annual National Relocation Conference and Global Workforce Symposium programs and makes them available for recertification credit (One CRP® CE hour is given per audio session). The library of available sessions is constantly changing and expanding. In order to review the most up-to-date list of sessions, please click here.
Any CRP® who places an audio session order is automatically given CRP® recertification credit within a few weeks of fulfillment of their order (a monthly order report is passed to the Professional Development Department for processing). Others can share audio sessions within the same company. Please note that whether you purchase or share audio sessions, you cannot use the same audio session more than one time to receive CRP® credit. Directions on obtaining credit through sharing of audio sessions are provided with your purchase, or you can visit here for more information.
*Please note that a minimum of 30 credits are required. The credit hours must meet certain specifications to count towards this minimum. Please see maintenance requirements for more information.
