The Global Mobility Specialist (GMS®) designation signifies that you are specialized in the field of global workforce mobility and are committed to ongoing education to grow your expertise. To acquire the credential, GMS® designees must participate in three Modules, either online, live or a combination of both. Upon completion of the three Modules, GMS® designees must take and pass one comprehensive online examination on the fundamentals of global workforce mobility and intercultural management skills - all material is taught in the Modules.
GMS® designees are given three years to complete all three Modules and the online exam from the date they start the Modules.
To retain the credential, GMS® designees are expected to complete continuing education credits every three years.
The curriculum for the GMS® course and continuing education program was designed and developed in consultation with the GMS® Certification Review Board, and through feedback from GMS® designees following their completion of the designation. In addition, surveys of Worldwide ERC® committees who advise us on global mobility trends have also been used.
