Throughout the morning we will examine cross-border travel, permissible business activities, periods of authorized stay and special considerations for particular countries. The Series will also provide a brief update on key U.S. immigration issues involved in obtaining work permits and green cards, including Department of Labor applications and processes. Also, we will take a snapshot look at certain recent Citizenship and Immigration Services initiatives and at best practices for the work visa process. Finally, a brief summary of new legislative and policy initiatives will be highlighted. The program will be interactive with many opportunities for questions and discussion.
