As a follow-up to the February 2010 Learning Zone webinar on corrosive drywall, this session will provide information on the latest changes and guidelines. HUD has issued specific guidance in the identification of imported corrosive drywall. The dangers for employer companies and relocation management companies lie in the confusion and misinformation surrounding the identification process on a high-risk issue. Many companies are very concerned about how to clearly identify this product and the ensuing remediation. HUD, CPSC and EPA have all provided guidance on the removal of suspect problem drywall – but what does this mean to you?
In this timely session you will
- Learn the guidelines for the identification of corrosive drywall.
- Determine what steps are involved in the remediation process
- Discover how you know that the problem drywall has been removed
- Develop bullet points on how to explain the issues to the transferee
- Have the opportunity to ask questions of our expert presenter.
