With the end of 2008 upon us, we'd like to share with you our final edition of Grassroots NetNews for the year. Although the current economic climate continues to pose many challenges, the need for an industry "watch dog" is perhaps greater now than ever, as lawmakers seek to address and remedy these challenges, and state and local governments look for ways to raise revenue via changes to regulations and/or proposing new legislation.
