SVP, Communications and Marketing
Anita Brienza is a communications professional who has been building her experience in business and association communities since 1979. She joined Worldwide ERC® to assist in the establishment of MOBILITY magazine, and later became responsible for the magazine's advertising. During her career as a senior staffer at Worldwide ERC®, Anita developed a comprehensive communications department from which she administered the association's public relations and communications strategy. She established her own company in 1997 and consulted until 2010 to various business partners and Worldwide ERC®, its government relations program, and the Worldwide ERC® Foundation for Workforce Mobility in the areas of executive communications, branding, marketing, communications strategy, and media relations.
In January 2011, she accepted an internal position to head the association’s Communications and Marketing department, which houses communications, PR, social media and marketing functions, the monthly Mobility magazine and Express News Update, the twice-monthly Globility newsletter, and the bimonthly Tax and Legal Update. Anita holds a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland and a graduate certificate in Leadership Coaching from George Washington University. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Maryland Writer's Center.
