India - New tax proposals in India - Union Budget 2010-11

Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, the Indian Finance Minister presented the proposals for the Union Budget for financial year 2010-11 in the Indian Parliament today. There are some minor changes proposed with regard to the taxation of individuals and these are outlined below.
