TrendSpotting: Anticipated Trend in Short-term Assignments Within Europe in the Next Year

In a Global Benchmarking Survey conducted at the Worldwide ERC® Global Workforce Summit in 2009 (London), 60 percent of the HR/Mobility professionals surveyed anticipate an increase in short-term assignments within Europe in the next year. Slightly over one-fourth of the respondents (28 percent) believe the number of short-term assignments will remain the same and the remaining 12 percent predict a decrease.
