Worldwide ERC® conducted a 5-question Pulse Survey of Corporate members in the first week of May 2010 to take a snapshot look at what organizations are experiencing with regard to their present day relocation volumes as well as the relocation benefits being provided. Nearly half (47 percent) of employer members indicated that they are presently relocating a somewhat or significantly increasing number of current employees, while only 19 percent report relocating a decreasing number. For half of corporations, new hire transfer volumes have remained the same, an additional 35 percent report increasing numbers. Of the 864 Corporate/Government member organizations invited to participate in the online survey, 165 responded—a 19 percent response rate.
