Worldwide ERC®'s global designation, the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS®), recognizes knowledge and professionalism in the field of global workforce mobility.

 

Because of its impact on and recognition among the global mobility industry, we are bringing this training opportunity to you in London.

To acquire the credential, GMS® candidates participate in three modules and complete a corresponding exam on the fundamentals of global workforce mobility and intercultural management skills.

Worldwide ERC® is offering Module 1 online while Modules 2 and 3 will be offered live after the 2012 Global Workforce Summit Talent Mobility in EMEA.

These exciting learning opportunities will expand your knowledge of a wide range of topics:  

GMS® Module 1 – Applied International Assignment Policy Development is an in-depth tutorial on the essentials of a classic international assignment program.

The Module 1 online program is offered online to GMS® registrants. If you have registered for all three modules, we recommend that you complete Module 1 online prior to attending Modules 2 and 3 in London. Module 1 – offered online and Modules 2 and 3 offered live 23 and 24 February.

GMS® Module 2: Policy Alternatives, Strategies and Tactics for Global Workforce Mobility

This training module will help you:

  • explore the strategic, compensation, and employee relations implications of short-term, commuter, rotational, career and localization assignments;
  • anticipate challenges and adapt your programs and policies to new business imperatives and the evolving needs of “the new expatriates” and;
  • develop cost-effective alternatives to the traditional expatriate approach.

GMS® Module 3: The Intercultural Challenge: Doing Business Globally

This training module will help you:

  • learn the basics of intercultural education theory; and
  • apply intercultural theory to relocation processes and real-time global business practices.

Registration Information: Interested participants can register for individual GMS® education modules or for the full specially priced package. You do not need to attend the 2012 Summit in order to register for this education; however, we do encourage you to attend both events. In order to register for the education modules, both conference registrants and non-conference registrants must refer to the "Optional Programs" section of the 2012 Global Workforce Summit Registration Wizard.
