Global Mobility Specialist Education Program

The Global Mobility Specialist (GMS™) designation recognizes knowledge and professionalism in the field of global workforce mobility.

To acquire the credential, GMS™ designees participate in three modules and complete a corresponding exam on the fundamentals of global workforce mobility and intercultural management skills.

Worldwide ERC® will soon be offering Module 1 online while Module 2 and 3 will be offered live during the 2011 National Relocation Conference.

These exciting learning opportunities will expand your knowledge of a wide range of topics:

Module 1 – Applied International Assignment Policy Development is an in-depth tutorial on the essentials of a classic international assignment program.

The Module 1 online program will be available to GMS™ registrants April 18, 2011.  If you have registered for all three modules, we recommend that you complete Module 1 online prior to attending Modules 2 and 3 in Las Vegas.

Module 2 – Policy Alternatives, Strategies and Tactics for Global Workforce Mobility offers a detailed understanding of localization strategy and practice, short-term assignments, the needs of global nomads, and hybrid programs for today's new expatriate.
Offered Tuesday, May 17, 2011 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Module 3 – The Intercultural Challenge: Doing Business Globally provides a focus on the intercultural implications of global mobility and geographically dispersed teamwork.
Offered Wednesday, May 18, 2011 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registration Information: Interested participants can register for individual training modules or for the full specially priced training package which includes all three modules.  You do not need to attend the 2011 Conference in order to register for this training; however, we do highly encourage you to attend both events. In order to register for the training modules, both conference registrants and non-conference registrants must refer to the "Optional Programs Registration" section of the 2011 National Relocation Conference Registration Form.
