Sheri Schaffer, CRP, GMS

Sheri is Worldwide ERC® 's Director of Professional Development and Training. Prior to joining Worldwide ERC® in 1994, she spent her summers and holiday vacations during college working as an intern in the Communications Squadron of the U.S. Air Force (as a civilian employee), inside the Pentagon. After graduating from college, she spent 3.5 years on Capital Hill working as a staff aide to Senator Tom Daschle.

In her current position, Sheri directs the development and implementation of the Certified Relocation Professional program and the Global Mobility Specialist program in support of Worldwide ERC® 's certification and education initiatives.  Additionally, she works with the CRP and GMS Certification Review Boards in assisting the committees with question-writing and preparation for the annual CRP® examination and various logistics under the GMS program.  Her work also involves evaluating association trends in the delivery and management of education programs in order to initiate and implement appropriate new educational seminars and continuing education opportunities.

Sheri holds a B. S. in Communications from Minnesota State University. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives, and the American Society for Training and Development.
