Karen Reid, CRP, GMS-T

Karen serves as Worldwide ERC®’s Executive Vice President, with responsibilities in program strategies and execution.

From May 2009 to May 2010, she held dual posts in the association while she served as Senior Vice President and Interim Executive Director during a CEO transition and search.

Karen joined Worldwide ERC® as a staff analyst in 1978, and has been responsible for developing many key programs for the association, including the CRP and GMS designation programs, PERC memberships, and spearheading efforts to take the association global. Combining her depth of experience and well-honed strategic planning and management skills, her current responsibilities include the association’s product development; content strategy; and research and education departments, including designations/certifications. She is a popular speaker and writer on worldwide mobile workforce issues.

Karen holds a Master’s in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, where she taught while working on her graduate degree. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and a former Board member of the Big Sisters program in the Washington Metro area.
