Brendan McKenna is a Vice President and International Economist with Wells Fargo Securities. Based in New York, he provides commentary on global macroeconomic developments and foreign exchange markets through several Wells Fargo publications, with primary focus on emerging markets. Before joining Wells Fargo, he worked as a macro strategist for Citigroup in New York, where he was responsible for identifying thematic macroeconomic trends as well as analyzing individual economies with a particular focus on emerging markets. Brendan graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in finance and received his M.B.A. with a dual concentration in capital markets and investments as well as corporate finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Greg Chen is currently serving as CEO of PT. Outsource Indonesia, which is a formal sector company specializing in private placement, recruitment, payroll & HR managed services in Indonesia. Greg also currently holds leadership positions at several business and sectoral organizations, including the Indonesian Outsourcing Association, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, The Employers Association of Indonesia and the World Employment Confederation.

Mark Buchanan is the firm’s partner for the Asia region based in Fragomen’s Singapore office. He has practiced for more than 20 years with leading local and international law firms providing corporate, employment and immigration law advice and services to local and multinational corporations in the Asia Pacific. Today, Mark provides comprehensive immigration consultancy services and overall immigration management to local clients.

Charles Johanes is Special Counsel in Fragomen’s Asia Pacific Advisory and Compliance Practice. He is a Solicitor (NSW) with over 15 years of experience, as well as an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law, recognized by the NSW Law Society. Charles partners with corporate clients to assist in reviewing internal policies and processes in order to implement best practices and ensure compliance with obligations under local immigration laws. He also provides strategic immigration advice as part of broader workforce planning, talent attraction, mobilization and retention, and in situations where immigration law may intersect with other areas of law, such as family law, employment law, mergers and acquisitions or business restructures).

Working with corporate clients that operate across a variety of sectors (including telecommunications, information technology, engineering, financial services, retail and professional services), Charles has worked with a number of the world's largest multinational corporations, major Australian corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and start-up companies. He has also assisted individual clients with a broad range of temporary and permanent visa applications, including applications for review. Charles speaks fluent English and Indonesian and conversational Japanese and Chinese.

Ruiyuan is a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) in Singapore with over 13 years of experience in the areas of individual income tax and employment tax in Singapore. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he spent 9 years with two of the Big Four accounting firms and was the Regional Expatriate Tax Manager in a global bank. Ruiyuan brings his in-house experience to the table to ensure that the Singapore team provides pragmatic solutions to their clients rather than just technically correct solutions which are challenging to implement in the real world.
