Immigration-H1-B Modernization Proposed Rule

 7 December 2023 – 2:00 PM EDT (US)

REGISTER NOW

On October 23, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published in the Federal Register a final rule with regulations that would modernize the H-1B visa program in the United States and result in significant changes that would impact both employers and their employees looking to utilize an H-1B visa.  Attendees will hear from members of WERC’s Immigration Policy Forum to learn more about the proposed rule and its potential ramifications for the talent mobility industry.  Participants will then engage in a corporate-only discussion with WERC’s Government Affairs team on what this rule might mean for their programs and employees.  This conversation will enable attendees to provide their insights and perspective to WERC that can then provide background support on key themes to cover in a formal comment letter that WERC will be sending to USCIS on the final rule.

If you need any additional information, please contact  Michael T Jackson, Vice President, Member Engagement and Public Policy,  (mjackson@worldwideerc.org).
