Brexit: Implications for Workforce Mobility

As the UK moves closer and closer to its exit from the European Union on 29 March 2019, this session considers the current status of the negotiations between the UK and EU and the broad political issues at stake in the discussions. It also analyses the key issues and implications from a global workforce perspective, particularly in terms of the future immigration system, the mobility of skilled labour post-Brexit, mutual recognition of professional qualifications and data exchange—and speculates on the state of the future of both the UK and the EU.
