China’s Role in the Global Economy: Redefining the Supply Chains that Bind (Ross O’Brien, Ovum TMT Intelligence)

China’s emerging leadership in global supply chains will accelerate the development and adoption of innovation in numerous new and innovative technologies, many of which—from robotics and Artificial Intelligence to life sciences—will have profound impact on the new World of Work. At the same time however, rising concerns about the rapid growth and pervasiveness of China’s influence on its global trade partners are forcing a re-examination of these complex, interconnected supply chains.
