To acquire this sought-after credential, GMS-T® candidates are provided access to six online educational modules that include content relevant to the global mobility industry. Candidates must take and pass a comprehensive online examination on the principles and practices of global workforce mobility and intercultural management skills based on the materials encompassed across the six modules. GMS-T® designation holders who earn at least 25 Worldwide ERC® service points will be elevated to Senior Global Mobility Specialist, Talent Management (SGMS-T®) status.
NOTE: For those that earned the GMS® (pre-GMS-T®) you are eligible to earn the SGMS® designation by earning 25 Worldwide ERC® service points.
All designees need to earn a minimum of 30 continuing education (CE) credits for each three-year period following initial certification, in addition to remitting a recertification fee.
