Dear Worldwide ERC® Members and Friends

It is with tremendous sadness, the greatest respect and resolve that we send this communication.

This last week has been incredibly difficult to witness and reconcile given the senseless death of George Floyd, the suffering of so many from his loss, what his loss represents and the despair of countless fellow Americans. These events impact our Worldwide ERC® community and provide us an opportunity to lead by example.

For more than 50 years Worldwide ERC® has been a community of connection – connecting industry professionals for business growth and prosperity and creating friendships along the way. Ask any member and they will tell you Worldwide ERC® membership is like a family. And in times like this, families come together, support one another, and do the right thing. That's what Worldwide ERC® is doing.

As global business leaders we have been consoled by the marches of support from Chicago to Washington, Berlin to Milan, Dublin to Toronto and Paris to Perth. Worldwide ERC® exists to support you as an employer and your employees of ALL nationalities, races, colors, religions, ethnicities, sexes, preferences and thoughts. The 6,000 members of our association will listen, digest, use our voices, act and never lose focus to take care of one another. Now is the time for public and private sector leaders to take urgent and thoughtful action to prevent future tragedies and embrace the strength that is diversity. It's time to lead!

These past few months have been extremely hard with the Covid-19 pandemic which has levied a harsh blow, resulting in the global stoppage of movement of talent, and creating economic stress to our industry and unemployment across the membership. But our community has rallied. Not only are global mobility professionals quickly working to get employees safely moving around the globe, but they continue to work to create diverse and inclusive cultures within their organizations; Optimizing each individual and elevating talent to grow their organization's global reach and our economies. As leaders it's our mission to drive change and prosperity for all, through collective talents and hard work, passion and care.

We are concerned and filled with compassion for the black community and committed to the termination of unequal treatment. We welcome your thoughts on how Worldwide ERC® can assist you and your organization in leading this change
