That’s why in this month’s issue of Mobility magazine, we laid out the A to Z of new relocation to offer insight on where we’ve been, and where work is going. Compliance in the New Era of Relocation

Compliance and COVID-19, in particular, are sure to be top of mind for employers navigating a tax and immigration landscape affected by the pandemic. With so many employees working remotely, employers have seen an uptick in the amount of employees requesting to work in more desirable, and affordable, locations. Indeed, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused millions of workers to consider relocation, leading to a host of tax and compliance complexities that mobility professionals must help solve.

E is for Employee Experience

Another major focal point in the new era of relocation will be the employee experience. The mental and emotional toll that a global pandemic takes cannot be understated, and the past year has shown that mental health and wellness is a top priority for employers and employees. A strong company culture that cultivates a sense of belonging coupled with mental health and wellness strategies that address employee burnout are just a few key considerations in the overall employee experience. Additionally, the past year has demonstrated an increased focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), with mobility professionals playing a key role in using DE&I to enhance the employee experience.
