The 2020 Global Workforce Symposium continued this week with a series of summits for the EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions. In case you missed it, workforce mobility industry peers from the Latin American (LATAM) region and beyond connected yesterday through the symposium’s first-ever all-virtual summit to discuss pressing topics, share insights, and foster connection.

The morning was spent networking as a virtual meet and greet kicked off the day’s events such as opening educational sessions to discuss topics pertinent to the LATAM region. As a global pandemic upended business operations around the globe, there was much to discuss regarding how the LATAM region’s varying economies, business operations, and workers have adapted to unprecedented times. The educational sessions gave an economic overview of the region as well as updates to the state of work and an immigration snapshot.

After an educational session on the topic of COVID-19 and Latin America sponsored by Cartus and led by industry professionals, the LATAM Summit continued with corporate benchmarking and practice sharing for corporate attendees, and concluded with a happy hour led by a LATAM recruiter as they shared insights on hot skills in the region and tips on resumes and LinkedIn profiles that stand out.
