Worldwide ERC Continues to Help Mobility and Relocation Professionals up Their Game

BMA form and CRP exam provide industry leaders with tools they need to succeed.

I am excited to announce that the 2022 Worldwide ERC® Broker’s Market Analysis (BMA) and Strategy Report is now available for member access. This year’s revision responds to the changing needs within the workforce mobility industry since the last report was released in 2008. Driven in part by the global pandemic, dramatic shifts have emerged in the housing market and broader economy, forcing changes to corporate policy and practice. This has resulted in an urgent need to expand and enhance the BMA form to address user requirements.

To achieve this, Worldwide ERC convened a cross-industry task force, led by our former Board Chair Sue Carey, to review the content and recommend updates to better support the needs of practitioners and their clients. We thank them for their support and counsel and for their dedication to the workforce mobility industry.

In addition to updated content, the new BMA provides multiple platform and resource enhancements. Technology and access improvements delivered with this release include:

  • Access to two ways to complete the form: a downloadable and fillable PDF version, and an online form version that allows for generating a PDF copy once completed.
  • An online guide, viewable through any device.
  • Licenses available to private firms to integrate the BMA into their own technology.

I am equally pleased to congratulate the 45 new Worldwide ERC members who earned the coveted Certified Relocation Professional (CRP®) designation last month. Over 3,000 individuals now hold the prestigious CRP designation, which is the only credential dedicated to identifying professionals that demonstrate a broad understanding of managing employee mobility within the United States. Candidates earn the CRP designation through work experience and professional society engagement, which includes passing a comprehensive examination encompassing a defined body of knowledge.

Worldwide ERC has opened a second 2022 CRP Exam window to meet ongoing interest and demand. The exam is open from 14 November through 9 December and will be offered at hundreds of designated testing centers worldwide and via live, online proctoring from anywhere on a device. Learn more about the CRP exam window.

Through the modernized BMA form and its new online formats, along with the reopened CRP exam window, Worldwide ERC has demonstrated its commitment to delivering the tools and resources our industry needs to forge the future on workforce mobility.
