Keeping with the “It’s About You” theme, keynote speakers at the 2019 Americas Mobility Conference will provide practical advice and actionable insights you can immediately implement to increase your success. Opening keynote speaker, sponsored by Quicken Loans, Jamil Qureshi and closing keynote speaker Marci Rossell are leaders in their respective fields who are changing the way people think, act and interact.
Jamil QureshiIn both sports and business, performance is the name of the game. Performance coach and psychologist Jamil Qureshi would know. Whether helping the European Ryder Cup team make history or delivering leadership programs for the Coca-Cola Board of Directors, Qureshi has helped individuals around the world fulfill their potential.
Qureshi is especially well known in the golfing community, having worked with 22 golfers ranked in the top 50 in the world and been named among the top 100 most powerful men in golf in 2008. But his expertise goes well beyond the sports arena. He has been able to take what he has learned from his experience helping six athletes achieve the highest worldwide ranks and apply it to today’s quickly evolving business climate. He knows that organizations must be nimble and adaptable, and he helps leaders create a culture of performance to get them there.
Qureshi is an ideal choice to kick-off events in the completely updated schedule for this year’s conference. Things get started on Wednesday night, when, if you think you’re in for a typical conference speech, think again: A former regular at London’s prestigious Comedy Store, Qureshi is sure to both educate and entertain you.
He will inspire you to challenge your personal belief systems and disrupt old habits to maximize your own performance, while explaining how you can help those around you make the most of theirs, too.
Marci RossellConfused about Brexit? Wondering what effect the trade tensions between the U.S. and China are having on the global economy? Curious about how any of this affects you and your organization? Economic forecaster Marci Rossell will bring you up to speed during the conference’s closing session.
As the former chief economist for CNBC and co-host of the network’s popular “Squawk Box,” Rossell helped drive some of the highest ratings in CNBC’s history. She began her career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and later served as an expert witness for Deloitte and Touche and corporate economist and investment spokesperson for Oppenheimer Funds, one of the nation’s largest mutual fund companies. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Southern Methodist University.
In today’s increasingly interconnected global economy, understanding complex economic issues is not optional. Rossell will take these complex issues and make them relevant to your daily life and the talent mobility industry. You won’t want to miss her high-energy, high-relevancy talk.
