Worldwide ERC® Board of Directors Chairman Ed Hannibal Honors Service Leaders at GWS Day 2

In case you missed it, starting off the second day of GWS was Worldwide ERC® Board of Directors Chairman Ed Hannibal, GMS, who praised the organizations and leaders who have continued to successfully meet the challenges of workforce mobility.

The first day of the virtual Global Workforce Symposium kicked off on 28 October for a day full of connection and learning across workforce mobility sectors and time zones. In case you missed it, starting off the second day was Worldwide ERC® Board of Directors Chairman Ed Hannibal, GMS, who praised the organizations and leaders who have continued to successfully meet the challenges of workforce mobility. “I couldn’t be prouder about how our organization continues to transform,” said Hannibal. “Meeting the new challenges our industry faces and helping mobility professionals do their jobs more effectively in this unprecedented time.”

Hannibal then recognized the volunteers and the important role they play in the success of the mobility industry and Worldwide ERC®. Said Hannibal, “Without the consistent dedication, year after year, of hundreds of people in the Worldwide ERC® community, we would never succeed in our mission.” With that, Hannibal recognized the Distinguished and Meritorious Service Award recipients who have tirelessly given their time and their expertise over the years to make sure that Worldwide ERC® consistently offers the highest level of industry knowledge and professionalism.

Included were the two newest inductees into the Worldwide ERC® Hall of Leaders: Sue Carey, SCRP, SGMS-T, vice president, corporate relocation strategies, at Baird & Warner, and Dale L. Collins, SCRP, GMS, chief strategy officer at Graebel. Whether participating in committees, taking part in educational panels, writing Mobility magazine articles, or sharing their expertise on forums and task forces, Worldwide ERC® was honored to recognize Carey and Collins for years of dedicated service.

Following was another day of educational and engaging sessions from workforce mobility industry leaders, covering such topics as:

  • Shifts in Government Relocation Service Models
  • Talent Mobility in the Middle East
  • How the Online Referral Fee Can Cause Issues for Your Employees and You
  • Strategies for Keeping Mobility Relevant
  • Economic Update from a Real Estate Perspective

Finally, industry peers came together for a happy hour featuring a specialty craft cocktail curated by a leading mixologist.

And that was just day two! From educational sessions and breakouts to networking and connection among peers, GWS will continue to foster connection and learning across the globe for all sectors of the industry.
