As the Biden administration looks to enforce wage rules for foreign workers to protect U.S. jobs during the COVID-19 economic recovery, employers will need to understand the Labor Department’s regulation that significantly raises the wage level thresholds for H-1B and other specialty occupation workers.

Our speakers will discuss:

  • Current status of the wage regulation, key dates of phased implementation.
  • How the regulation increases wage levels for H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 and PERM applicants and how entry-level H-1B workers in certain professions are likely to be affected.
  • How employers should assess the impact on their program, plan for the wage hikes and forecast their budgets.
