"Nosotros Somos Todos Americanos...pero...": Bridging the Cultural Differences of North, Central and South America

Managing the cultural complexities of the Americas - North, Central and South - is a critical skill for successful work both north and south of the Rio Grande. While sharing many similarities, the cultures of the Americas also represent vastly different perspectives on life and work: recognizing and understanding these differences can accelerate regional success, while ignoring or misunderstanding these differences can result in costly and painful missteps. This presentation will explore the major cultural work themes of the Americas, why they exist, and provide important "best practices" for managing their impact in our daily work with each other throughout the region.
