Plenary Discussion: The Talent Agility Factor
The pressures of globalization and competition mean Japanese companies will have to look farther afield for talent.
The gig economy will also continue to place pressure on HR leaders, HR policies and HR processes to become more agile so that they can accommodate the kind of turbulence now being created by contingent workers as a growing element of their talent pool.
In this session, we hear real case studies from a panel of HR practitioners on their talent strategies, how they use technology, connectivity and learning tools to attract, develop and retain young talent.
The panel will also share insights on the programs undertaken by their organizations to integrate foreign talent into a historically homogenous society, their efforts to cultivate, engage a global, inclusive team. We will also hear the steps which they are taking to build future leadership pipelines and to bridge gaps on gender, sexual orientation and pay issues.
