Worldwide ERC® Government Affairs Update - FEBRUARY 2020

With Brexit now moving to the transition period and the U.S. beginning a Presidential Election year, the direction on policy issues impacting workforce mobility is becoming slightly more predictable. There is, however, still plenty of uncertainty as to the fate of specific proposals ranging from immigration to tax matters.

Tristan North and Pete Scott will cover the tax issues of the new W-4 form, recently extended expired tax provisions, proposals in Congress on possible new tax cuts, and corrections to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, as well as the IRS ramping up passport revocations. The Update will also address global issues such as trade agreements, data privacy regulations, immigration, Brexit, and the trends and impact of these policies on workforce mobility.
