Tristan North is the Government Affairs Adviser for Worldwide ERC®. In this role which Tristan has held for the past 10 years, he advises the Worldwide ERC® Government Affairs Committee and Forums on policy issues impacting workforce mobility. Tristan also keeps the Worldwide ERC® membership apprised of developments on key issues through educational sessions, blogs and other content formats. Tristan covers broad issues ranging from immigration to real estate to detailed policy like protecting the personally identifiable information of transferees shipping goods.
Nino Nelissen

Nino Nelissen is managing director with EMG, Executive Mobility Group, based at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. Nino is a tax lawyer that graduated from Maastricht University, and worked as an expatriate tax lawyer for the past 27 years in the Netherlands, Washington DC and Tokyo, Japan. Nino started his career in the Big 4 environment, and resigned as a partner in one of the Big 4 firms to found EMG, a business that integrates Tax services, Immigration services, Destination services, HR consulting services and Move manager services. In addition, Nino is a partner in Vydenz, a company offering expansion services to companies wishing to expand in Europe.

Jurga has been practicing international immigration law for 15 years. She has significant experience in servicing international clients dealing with global scale corporate immigration advice and strategy. Jurga deals with all immigration matters including highly complex corporate and personal immigration matters. She gives strategic business advice to international clients, develops innovative services, regularly engages with the UK Government, the European Commission, and the Mayor of London, advises think tanks and is a frequent voice in the media as an immigration expert. Jurga is also highly experienced when it comes to business evacuation and continuity issues. Jurga was recently awarded Editor Choice at the City Wealth Power Women Awards and is continuously recognized in Who’s Who as ‘’a commercially astute practitioner known for her efficient handling of global immigration cases’’.

Craig is a Vice President of AECC Mobility in Mt. Prospect Illinois. AECC is a privately held, specialty provider of U.S. and global financial and closing service administration to the employee relocation and talent mobility industry
Involved in relocation since 1981 Craig holds a BS in Accounting from DePaul University, a CPA accreditation, and an Illinois Real Estate Broker’s License.
Craig has achieved the professional designations of Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) and Senior Global Mobility Specialist (SGMS) from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council. He has received both the Meritorious Service Award and is a two-time recipient of Worldwide ERC’s Distinguished Service Award. Since 2002 Craig has been a member of the Public Policy Committee and now serves on Regulatory & Compliance, the Real Estate & Mortgage forums and is the acting Vice Chair of the Tax forum of the Government Affairs Committee.

George Powdar has over 37 years of experience in the relocation industry and joined Altair Global in May 2008. He is currently responsible for Altair’s global compliance and data privacy practices and is the company’s appointed Data Protection Officer. George is also responsible for Altair’s global reporting services group and has been a key resource in the execution of Altair’s global expansion strategies.
George is the Chair of Worldwide ERC® Regulatory and Compliance Public Policy Forum and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
Jeff Margolis
SIRVA
Jeffrey H. Margolis (Jeff) began his career with SIRVA in 1996 as Assistant General Counsel of a relocation management company in Cleveland, Ohio that was acquired by SIRVA in 2002 and formed the basis of SIRVA Relocation. He has held several leadership roles on the legal team and became General Counsel in 2013. He is responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the company and manages it’s legal team. Margolis’ philosophy for the legal team is to work closely with the operations and account management teams at SIRVA to achieve effective and compliant results by helping clients understand the issues and challenges they face—and thus achieve optimal solutions.
Margolis continues to engage in industry activities, including participation as Vice-Chairperson of the Worldwide ERC® Regulatory and Compliance Forum. Prior to joining SIRVA in 1996, he served as a law clerk in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, and then served for almost eight years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor in Cleveland, Ohio. Margolis has also worked in private practice, focusing on real estate. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jay Hershman, SCRP

Jay N. Hershman, SCRP concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate and relocation law, including compliance and corporate and business organization. He also holds the designation of Senior Certified Relocation Professional from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (WERC).
He is a member of the Connecticut, Massachusetts and District of Columbia Bars, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in the District of Connecticut. He also holds a Massachusetts real estate broker license.
Jay is the past Chair of the WERC North American Real Estate and Mortgage Forum and has been a member of the Forum since its inception. He has served as a speaker at numerous events and training sessions throughout the United States discussing real estate and relocation. Additionally, Mr. Hershman has been a member of the Cheshire Fire Department since 1992 and held the rank of Assistant Chief. Mr. Hershman served as the President of the Waterbury Area Fire Chief’s Association
In 1998 he received a B.A. from Bryant University. He received a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001. At the Quinnipiac University School of Law, Mr. Hershman was the Research Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, and he authored “Erickson v. Erickson: Extrinsic Evidence in Probate Matters”, Quinn. Prob. Law Jour. 143 (2001).
