Conferences in Singapore and São Paolo offer new opportunities for networking and learning.

As part of the Worldwide ERC® commitment to meeting our members where they are and supporting global mobility professionals around the world, I am pleased to announce that registration is now open for our two regional summits taking place later this year. With relevant, localized programming and the chance to network with other relocation professionals in the area, these events provide a great opportunity for our members in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions to come together to catalyze the future of the global workforce.

Our first regional conference—the Worldwide ERC APAC Regional Summit Singapore—will take place at the Shangri-La Orchid in Singapore from 19–20 September, focusing on mobility issues specific to the Asia-Pacific region. We are also excited to collaborate with the Global Business Travel Association, the voice of the global business travel industry, to co-locate our conferences for the region. Although the events will take place separately, attendees will be able to access programming from both conferences and take advantage of enhanced networking opportunities through the combined expo hall and shared social events.

Later that same month, we will host the Worldwide ERC LATAM Regional Summit São Paolo on 27 September at the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil, taking a deep dive into the mobility challenges and opportunities facing Latin America. If you are interested in learning more about region-specific issues in the mobility industry, I encourage you to check out our event page and register.

As part of our continued global expansion, Worldwide ERC recently joined the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), and I was in Panama City this past weekend for the WFPMA board meeting, where I had the chance to speak directly with our global partners. Bringing together leaders representing the world’s foremost HR and people management organizations, WFPMA provides a well-connected forum for us to advocate for global mobility professionals more effectively, while also demonstrating our commitment to international engagement.

We hope you can join us at our APAC or LATAM regional summits, and don’t forget to register for the 2023 Global Workforce Symposium. All three international gatherings present opportunities to come together as one industry to discuss the role of global mobility professionals in a broader international context.
